There recently was a post to the Douglas Adams forum concerning the making of a documentary about Douglas Adams. Quoted-
"To Whom It May Concern (a.k.a. Hardcore Douglas Adams fans):
We have recently started pre-production on DOUGLAS ADAMS: HEART OF GOLD (working title), a documentary film that will pay tribute to Douglas Adams. This is the only film about Mister Adams that has the blessing and participation of his family and friends.
Using never before seen interview footage of Mister Adams, exclusive videotape of over twenty of his speeches, and interviews with family and friends we intend to take people inside the life, brilliant mind and generous heart of one of Science Fiction's most inventive and witty authors.
As his loyal fans we would like to give you the opportunity to participate in the shaping of this project. In the next two weeks you can e-mail us at douglasadamstribute@hotmail.com and tell us what you'd most like to know about Douglas's life.
We are looking for feedback on everything from what format would you like to see (e.g. DVD, Video, or CD-ROM) to your favorite Douglas stories and anecdotes. If you have rare or unique Douglas items (video, pictures, etc.) please let us know if you are interested in having them included in the documentary. We will do our best to include the answers to your questions and incorporate as much feedback as possible into the completed film.
