May 11th, 2001- It is with great sadness that I report the passing of a great man. Douglas Adams died of a heart attack in a Santa Barbera gym, at around 9:00 AM, PST.

July 8th, 2001- After some time, Starship Bistromath is back and better than ever! With our return, I hope to turn this into a bustling DNA fansite.
July 26th, 2001- I am happy to report the addition of forums, chat, polls, and the Hitchhiker Fact Files (More being added as you read this). Also, we hit our 500th visitor the other day! I hope we keep going.
September 15th, 2001 - Margo Buchanan, one of Douglas Adams' favorite performers is graciously releasing one of her songs online available for download. Buchanan is also set to play at Douglas Adams memorial service on the 17th.
September 17th, 2001 - There is to be a Memorial Service for Douglas Adams at St. Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square, London at 3.00 GMT today. This will be webcast right here.
September 18th, 2001 - That was a great service. Wasn't there, but saw the webcast. If you didn't there is a nice decription or two here. I hear the BBC will post the speeches soon, too.
